In observance of Good Friday, we will close at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, April 18, 2014.

Have a safe and happy Easter Holiday!!

Online Banking Security and Heartbleed Virus

On April 7,2014, security researchers discovered a flaw in encryption technology called the “Heartbleed Virus”.  This virus has affected many popular websites including Facebook, Pinterest, Yahoo, Gmail, Amazon to name a few.

Our IT security team tested our internet banking site and find no evidence of improper access and all necessary patches have been made. Use of a variety of strong passwords for all your online accounts will decrease your risk. A strong password has at least 8 characters, and includes a mix of numbers, upper and lower case letters, and symbols. We take information security seriously and work every day to protect our customer’s vital information.

Online Banking Security Changes begin April 21, 2014

In our ongoing effort to provide our customers with the latest in online security, we will be implementing upgrades to our Personal and Business Online Banking products including Mobile Banking. On Monday, April 21, 2014, we will implement the first step in this process. When you log into Online banking, the URL address in Internet Explorer will be green to confirm that you are logged into our secure website.  On Monday, May 26, 2014, we will discontinue the image and passphrase on the password page of your secure log in for Personal and Business products. You will receive a notification message for this change directing you to look at the green website address bar. On Monday, June 9, 2014, the image and passphrase for Mobile Banking will be discontinued and no longer visible on any Online Banking products. Your accounts will continue to be protected through advanced device forensics that seamlessly authenticate your computer and various devices. We take information security seriously and work every day to protect our customer’s vital information.
